About the Collection

An Aloha Collaboration brings together Honolulu Cookie Company and local Hawaii artist JT Ojerio, founder of Aloha de Mele, to celebrate the beauty of our island home. Inspired by the flora behind our Hawaii-inspired ingredients—guava, mango, coconut, chocolate, and macadamia—JT transformed these natural elements into hand-drawn artwork that captures the spirit of HawaiÊ»i.

The result is a refreshed Aloha Collection featuring premium shortbread cookies in beautifully designed, collectible packaging made for everyday gifting and sharing. Available exclusively online and in our Hawaii retail stores, it’s a meaningful way to share a little aloha with every gift.

Meet the Artist:
JT Ojerio

JT Ojerio is a self-taught Native Hawaiian artist born and raised on the beautiful island of OÊ»ahu, HawaiÊ»i. For most of her life, she was passionate about sports and fitness, competing year-round in wrestling and judo. After graduating high school, she moved to Colorado for college before completing her Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and a certificate in Pain Medicine in Chicago.

In 2017, JT discovered her love for drawing after suffering a hip injury that required reconstructive surgery and a lengthy recovery away from home. During that winter, she began creating artwork inspired by Hawaiʻi and the aloha spirit she missed so much. She quickly found peace through drawing and has continued creating ever since, with her best friend and pup, Mele, by her side.
